My Goals:
Put in the time and prep needed to cook healthy food.

Lose weight to improve feet, knees, and snoring!

Put an end to my sedentary iife (with one where I move).

Rereading Eat to LIve - on my Dr's recommendation.

I like The Self Compassion Diet, by Jean Fain.

My Program:
Eat lots more veg's and some fresh fruit, and less starches and meat.

Build exercise habit, and walk or play outside with my dog.

Plan and cook healthy meals.

Walking! a new shoe lift is enabling me.

Personal Information:
I'm 60 and married, with a grown son.

I love big ocean waves, and love being IN the water (kayaking or tubin'), but in calmer water, of course.

(I never learned to surf, but wish I had.)

I moved a whole lot growing up. The total number of states I've lived in is FIFTEEN. But for 20 years, except for last year, I've lived in Austin, TX.

Other Information:
Bookoholic, rock music fan, kollij grajuit (Emerson, Boston).

My worst trigger is pasta. Can't do it even in a serving without major problems.
