Losin it For Good

I am finally ready to make a lasting change. It is going to be a strugle, but I will overcome my sickness.

I have tried many ways to lose weight, but it never seems to be perminate. I enjoy eating right, exercising, but there is something that always gets in the way of me being successful.

In the last few months, I have discovered that I am an emotional eater, and that is what is preventing me from reaching my goals in weight loss. I want to learn as much as I can ...

I have tried many ways to lose weight, but it never seems to be perminate. I enjoy eating right, exercising, but there is something that always gets in the way of me being successful.

In the last few months, I have discovered that I am an emotional eater, and that is what is preventing me from reaching my goals in weight loss. I want to learn as much as I can about how to prevent "episoded" as I call them of binging when my emotions run really high... especially when I am an emotional person to begin with.

There are two tools that I have found help me with motivation. I use an ispiration collage (images of goals I want to attain, not just fitness), and a goal box. For the goal box use a small box you can keep on your dresser. Decorate it to your taste. Then write down all of your goals and why they are important to you on small slips of paper. Fold the papers up and keep them in your box. When you feel your motivation slipping, open the box and read about your goals and reasons and it might be enough to keep you going. Also, you can alway drop me a line and I will do my best to give you a Spark! Good luck and I hope you find what you need :)
