"Spring"ing into Healthy Habits!

Spring is a time for new growth and blossoming. I'm ready to take the building blocks of the progress that I've already made, and to build on those and adopt some new ones to add to it! I've cut out the sweetener, trying to avoid processed foods, and really watch my sodium. (Which the sodium should go down when I stop using the processed stuff...no more MSG's!)

It's still a struggle at times, but it's all worth it in the end! You can be skinny on the outside, but that won't mean ...

What you said is 100% true... it's a pretty odd security blanket, but one nonetheless. I also can TOTALLY relate to the attention thing. I really thought, when I first started, I wanted people to notice. Now that they are, VERY regularly, it's just kinda weird. I don't know - I've not been that person... ever. Even when I was thin - but the thing was, everyone was used to me thin.... no one stopped and gushed over me because I was 'just me' hanging around doing the things that I do... the attention is very odd. I try not to act awkward, but it's weird enough like - I don't even know where to put my hands when people are talking to me about weight *laughs*

I'm sure in time I'll be able to shift my thought patterns... but 47 pounds in about 12 weeks is fast... my mind needs to catch up with my behind!
