LET'S SPARK IT UP!!

i started this journey in September '07 at 237lbs. I was just walking at the park about 3-4days a week. i lost about 20lbs and after the holidays I gained 10 back. So January '08 I made "the resolution" but this time I vowed it to be a lifestyle change, no more dieting.
I went to a local weight loss clinic that educates before anything. They also offer appetite suppressants (Adipex) and vitamin/leptin injections. I used them both but as a tool, not a crutch and I feel I have been ...

I used them both but as a tool, not a crutch and I feel I have been successful. I have lost almost 55lbs with a few to go. For some reason it sank in this time, I feel that Sparkpeople has been a big part of it.
SP is such a great place. I have made new friends, learned about new and healthier foods, I am even becoming a runner (some day!). This is just what I wanted in my quest for a new lifestyle. I hope that I can spread it on to other family and friends.

I am starting a 7-day challenge in order to refocus. My plan is to do at least 30min of exercise everyday, take my meds and vitamins, count totals cals, and get 64 ozs of H2O.
