Hi Friends!

I am a homeschooling, adoptive mom of 5.

I was super skinny through my teens, and worked at trying to gain weight. I guess you need to be careful what you wish for. :(

In my mid-twenties I started gaining weight; and the scale just went up, up, up.

In 2008 I went on medifast and lost 37 lbs. I kept it off for 6 months, but then I started gaining it back, and then some, and then some more.

THIS TIME I am making a lifestyle change. I'm logging in all my food and exercise, and staying committed to be healthy. I made a birthday promise to myself that I'm going to put my health FIRST this year. Instead of looking at it as depriving myself of something, or it's something I "have" to do, I'm looking at it as a "gift" to myself.

Thanks for the friend add! I used to T-tapp and I noticed you're a member of a T-tapp team. Are you doing it? How is it working for you? I'm thinking maybe I should try it again!

I hope you will consider joining our LIL Mommies "10 by 2/22" challenge. We're only one week in so there is still time! We are all trying to lose 10 lb. by that date, but anything is a success! Weigh-in's are on Saturday's. We also have a challenge going called "11 for 11 in 2011" which is 11 minutes of exercise for 11 consecutive days. Just a way to keep it going each day!
