Going Forward...

It's been almost four years since I had Gastric Bypass surgery (4/27/2005) and I been too complacent with my fitness goals. I went from 315 lbs to 198 lbs in 18 months. I was feeling happy with the loss, even when my weight started to inch back up. I was still in constant pain and had other issues going on. In 2008 alone, I’ve had two surgeries – a breast reduction (yay!) and knee surgery. Now, after ten years of constant pain (I’m only 27!), I only have the normal aches and pains of ...
Now, after ten years of constant pain (I’m only 27!), I only have the normal aches and pains of getting close to 30.

So here I am. I have breathing issues that I’m going to the doctor for, but mostly healthy. It’s been three months since the knee surgery, and I am finally released to do my own fitness program. 2009 – HERE I COME!

Welcome to Gastric Bypass Sparklers! You’ll find plenty of support and encouragement here. No question is too stupid to ask, so post away and we’ll all put in our two cents worth. Utilize all the tools SP has to offer. I find tracking my food and exercise most helpful. Good luck on your weight loss journey!

Linda
