Going Forward...
It's been almost four years since I had Gastric Bypass surgery (4/27/2005) and I been too complacent with my fitness goals. I went from 315 lbs to 198 lbs in 18 months. I was feeling happy with the loss, even when my weight started to inch back up. I was still in constant pain and had other issues going on. It's been almost four years since I had Gastric Bypass surgery (4/27/2005) and I been too complacent with my fitness goals. I went from 315 lbs to 198 lbs in 18 months. I was feeling happy with the loss, even when my weight started to inch back up. I was still in constant pain and had other issues going on. In 2008 alone, I’ve had two surgeries – a breast reduction (yay!) and knee surgery. Now, after ten years of constant pain (I’m only 27!), I only have the normal aches and pains of getting close to 30. So here I am. I have breathing issues that I’m going to the doctor for, but mostly healthy. It’s been three months since the knee surgery, and I am finally released to do my own fitness program. 2009 – HERE I COME!
