Hello! My name is Novi, and I'm glad I found this wonderful website to keep track of my weight. I've lost 43 lbs over the past 4 months. I've reached my original goal of losing 40 lbs, but I thought it wouldn't hurt to lose another 7 lbs before Christmas 2011. Sparkpeople is an awesome tool to record the food I eat and the workout I do on a daily basis. I think it's good to keep track of everything to be aware of my body weight, so that I don't gain back the pounds I've shed. I would love to learn everything about healthy living from other Sparkpeople members. I love to bake and cook, and I'd love to get and share healthy recipes.

My Goals:
Lose another 7 lbs before Christmas 2011, burn at least 3,300 calories every week, maintain a healthy lifestyle, running a 5k marathon.

My Program:
I go to the gym at least 3 times a week and always try to be active, such as going out for a jog in the park and walk my way around instead of driving or taking the bus. I also eat more vegetables and fruit and drink lots of water, especially before and after my workout at the gym. I also do portion control. I eat basically anything. Life is to be enjoyed to the fullest. There's no food that I refuse to eat in order to lose or maintain my weight, but the portion is what matters to me. I eat in moderation and avoid eating while watching TV or doing oher stuff. When I get bored, I always find some fun activities to do instead of eating out of boredom or just because the food is there. I also do weight lifting to build more muscles because muscles are greedy, and they want to consume all my body fat.

Personal Information:
I'm from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. I'm 32 years old.
