THE CHAMPIONSHIP

This is my championship life I am embarking on. I was born in 1961 have enough experience on where I've been and time to experience where I will be.

I've develpoed some healthy habits but I'm challenged with portion control. I'm going to do the Beck Diet solution which I'm finding is making me aware of some eating habits. One of my challenges will be verbalizing my experince with a diet coach and it'll be interesting to see how I do on this.

I live in Massachusetts. It's still pretty cold here in the mornings. I would rather be chilly than hot, though. After the Key West Half Marathon I gained new respect for you tropical runners. emoticon emoticon

I had the same problem this past fall/winter, exercising 5-6 days/week and still gaining weight. I went online and did an approximate calorie count of my foods and found it was WAY too much, despite them being healthy choices. Once I cut the extra calories out, the weight started coming off again. Hope this helps you!

Thank you for the suggestion, but the BLC isn’t for me. I had gotten an invite a while back, and decided after looking at some things that it’s not for me. I don’t want anything that might feel or come off as a stressor. That’s one thing I’m trying my best to stay away from, stress. Hopefully I’ll balance out with what I plan on doing for the next 16 weeks.
