THE CHAMPIONSHIP

This is my championship life I am embarking on. I was born in 1961 have enough experience on where I've been and time to experience where I will be.

I've develpoed some healthy habits but I'm challenged with portion control. I'm going to do the Beck Diet solution which I'm finding is making me aware of some eating habits. One of my challenges will be verbalizing my experince with a diet coach and it'll be interesting to see how I do on this.

February is American Heart Month and this month is dedicated to raising awareness about heart disease and increasing knowledge about prevention. Heart disease is the leading cause of death in the United States. The American Heart Association stresses that physical activity will make you feel better and your health depends on it. They say that by exercising for as little as 30 minutes a day you can reduce your risk of heart disease. Studies show that for every hour of walking, you may increase your life expectancy by 2 hours. That is great news! It’s so easy to get out there and get moving. Anyone can do it, regardless of your fitness level. Get your doctor’s approval, then put your walking shoes on and start walking. Not only are you working on preventing heart disease, you are increasing your life expectancy.

Grab those emoticon shoes emoticon and take a walk! There's nothing better to keep the spirits up along with the calories and weight down! Let's move to make those pounds disappear!

Thanks for stopping by my blog on restaurants, and I have heard about your tip. Unfortunately most of the time I end up ordering a salad of some type, and they aren't always good as a "leftover" -- everything turns mushy! But on other things I try to never overeat by stopping when I am satisfied. Another hint is to order the half order, for example at Red Lobster you can order certain fish entrees as a half or a whole. Half is plenty for me!
