Hey Tisha!! It was sooooo good to hear from you. We missed you!! I do love to hear from you.
How is your daughter feeling in her 5th month of pregnancy? I hope her doctors are monitoring her much more closely, give her history with her last pregnancy. But just look forward and stay positive. I have been lighting candles for her. I had an experience similar to your daughter's with my first child. he came early and only lived 11 days. It was so heart breaking but then my next pregnancy was my oldest daughter who will be 32 next month.
Kids do have a way of coming back to roost so to speak. They have it so much harder these days. It is so much more expensive for them. My son still lives with us and he and his girlfriend would love to move out but rents are so expensive around her and neither of them make enough to afford a place. I was quite proud of him that he actually worked the finances to determine it was not feasible financially. You have to know my son when I say I was proud of him for sitting down and working out their finances to see if they could afford to move out, that is not something he would normally do being somewhat impulsive. Plus his girlfriend just went back to college so she is working less hours as a hair stylist and that would have further strapped their finances if they had moved out.
So glad to hear that you will be on SP more often. I am not on as much as I would like but work commitments keep getting in the way. I still keep in touch with Barb and a few people but don't usually post too much in any of the topics chat rooms. I barely have time these days to get in my exercise. I have had a gym membership for 6 months but have only managed to get there about half a dozen times although I have recently made a resolution that to go a few times a week. My health is more important than work which is what always seems to get in the way of my timing to go to the gym but no more.
Today is Mother's Day here but I am wishing you a Happy Mother's Day!!

Hey Tisha. I know what you mean about expensive rents. We live in a college town so rents here are much higher so my son and his girlfriend can't afford here but could possibly afford lower rents further out in the country. The problem with that is that they both work close to home and moving anywhere else they could afford would add an hour commute to work. It is so hard for young people today. When my younger daughter finally got her job in New Jersey, it was only part time but she had looked for over a year and this job was in her field and a good opportunity plus she would be closer to home so we encouraged her to take it. Since the job is two hours from us, she had to move there and we helped her pay her rent for a few months. She was able to get anther part time job as a tutor at a community college so that helped until her part time job went fulltime so now she is able to make ends meet and still kept her part time tutoring job. I hope your daughter and her boyfriend are able to find something although I bet you are happy to have her with you. I don't mind my son and his girlfriend being here. They keep to themselves pretty much but one thing I would wish for would be that they both could pick up behind themselves a bit more. Especially his girlfriend. I would hope that if either of my girls or even my son for that matter were in the same situation, that they would be more tidy than she is. My solution is to give them both a trash bag and say it is time to pick up the den where they watch TV and play video games. I can overlook the untidiness because she is really a lovely girl who keeps my son in line and he is very happy so that makes me happy!!!! Sounds like you had a lovely time in England over the holidays. It was good that you got to see your mom. I miss my mom all the time but mostly during Christmas which was her favorite holiday and she always overdid everything at that time, presents, food, decorations. We had some friends living in Bristol for a while for his work and we wanted to try to get over to see them but never happened during the 3 years they were there and now they are back in the States. I am so so so so so so glad you are going to be on SP more. I have really missed you!! Kudos on the weight loss!!! I am still trying to get off the 20 pounds I gained back. That darn old scale will just not move down although I am glad it is not going up!!
Please keep in touch!! It was so good to hear for you and catching up!!! I really have missed you and really glad to see you back!!
