~~SWEET*PETITE~~

"Made for more. You're made for more!" Recently I heard that phrase and have had it echoing in my heart ever since. Slowly it's sinking in: God has made me for more. He's a Rewarder of those that diligently seek Him. All of life is an exchange of some sort in pursuit of Him. For as long as I can remember, I've equated Starbucks coffee with being cozy and sophisticated, a sausage-bacon-cheese biscuit with the start of a good morning, dinner out with a moment centered around me. Food has been there in all my good memories and has been my mindless hobby to detract from mindful cares. In all, Jesus should have been that to me. And so, I'm repenting - in other words, making a 180, back to Him to say, "more than anything, YOU make me happy". I hope to build a series of little choices or denials to set up as little altars of exchange - food for peace of mind, food for more of Him, food for a vibrant marriage, food for a restful spirit, food for the confidence that comes from self-control and a life lived on purpose.

I was certainly made for it. It's what God means for me to have. The currency I have in my hand is food - such a trite thing, but perhaps the littlest key will open the greatest treasures. I'm after You, Lord!

My Goals:
My goal is to no longer be ruled by food, but in this one thing to be free - totally free - in Jesus Christ!

I would also like to feel very beautiful when I put on those slimming skirts and slacks, feminine when I my blouses look as they should with curves in all the right places. I look forward to that special glint in my husband's eye.

I hope to hear my children say, "you're looking really skinny!"

I want to inspire my husband so that he will have momentum to be his proper weight and in perfect health.

I would love to be able to encourage others with a victory on this front so they can know there's victory to be had.

My Program:
No sugar.
No flour.
No dairy.
Lots of water and good, healthy food!

Personal Information:
Happy wife to one fine man! Happy mother to six fine kids!

Other Information:
Made for more!
