Getting back to being me!
I'm Cindy and I live in Pfafftown, North Carolina. I'm very lucky because I'm married to my best friend. Unfortunately, I've managed to add about 40 pounds since we got married. I've tried various fad diets and was usually able to lose some weight, but I always put it back on in a short time. Now I'm ready to do it the right way by eating healthy and exercising more. I'm hoping to lose most of the weight before my next trip to the southwest in August.

My Goals:
To get back to a healthy weight and get back to more hiking and backpacking. I have a backpacking trip planned in Arizona (Havasu Falls and Keet Seel) with my best friend in June of 2009 and I will be ready when the time comes.
My Program:
I use my nutrition tracker faithfully and I now understand how much food I used to eat. I never realized how fast those calories add up until I started putting everything into the tracker. I'm also trying to drink more water and eat healthier foods and get some exercise each day. I plan on doing a lot more hiking on weekends.
Personal Information:
I love hiking and photography. My husband is Tommy and I have two sons, two step-sons (both married), and four grandbabies (2 girls and 2 boys).
Other Information:
Although I live in North Carolina, I love the southwest better than any place else, especially the slot canyons in Utah. I also love photography and have set up a website to share my pictures with family and friends. The address is www.cindymccraryphotography.com.
