Hello yardwalker - Thanks for the info. It seems that my pedometre only registers a rythmical walk so is always going to show a low total of steps. I seem to walk a minimum of 10 K each day in the city and less in the country. However, I do 50 mins of PILATES MAT exercises nearly every day. emoticon
Hope you are having a sunny time as we are here in France,
Swan

Congrats on the pedometer. I would have to ask where you busy when you were wearing it? Or kind of on the lazy side. The average person ususally walks around 6000 to 7000 steps a day. The American Heart Association recommends 10,000 steps a day for heart health. I would put it on reset it, walk a bit and count the steps and see how accurate it is.

Well I bought a pedometer, or podemetre here in Paris, at the Decathlon shop and wore it from 3.30pm until 12 midnight. It registered 600 calories spent, 1,767 steps,10.8 Kilometres. I am not sure I am reading the amount of steps correctly as it could be 17,167 but that seems a bit much ???? Having fun with it.
Keep on walking,
Swan emoticon
