Getting smaller every day

31 year old woman living life in NYC. I reside in Astoria, I work and spend the majority of my time in Manhattan.

I had a sleeve gastrectomy at the end of April 2014. I have been learning more and more about nutrition and my body as I've been losing weight. I need to be here because I feel like it helps me stay accountable.

My Goals:
I don't know what my ideal body weight is. I know that it's not anything that I've been most of my adult life.

I'd like to get under 250lbs by the end of 2014 (hopefully very soon).

I'd like to be regularly exercising by the end of 2014 too.

Maybe be close to 200lbs by summer 2015. Can I do that?

My Program:
I had a sleeve gastrectomy in April 2014. I'm trying to follow the plan that my nutritionist and I have discussed. It's primarily protein heavy- and fitting in vegetables/fruits, etc when there's room! I don't have much of a stomach so I can't eat very much food.

Personal Information:
Live in Astoria
Work in Manhattan.
Hang out in L.E.S. & the theater district.

“Having a positive mental attitude is asking how something can be done rather than saying it can't be done.” ~ Bo Bennett

I truly think a positive attitude is half the battle in weight loss or in any obstacle we face. First, we need to believe that we can be successful; then, we need to believe that we DESERVE to be successful! We need to find our own personal “how” to reach our success and to keep trying until we do find it.

I made this for friends who came to lunch recently and will definitely make it again - easy, healthy, and yummy!
