I have had it! I am tired of saying, "This time I'm going to lose my weight." So, I am not saying that. Changing my approach! I am going to change my eating habits, but allow for a little enjoyment now and then. I am going to move more to build up my strength and energy, but not berate myself if I miss a day. I have decided that the purpose for losing the weight is not to be tied to medications (I only take two right now), I am not trying to impress anyone (my husband and I love each other very much). I am choosing to feel better. I am choosing to not be labeled obese (although I don't think that is a true label at 30# overweight). I have decided that life is too short, when I want to enjoy a food, I will. I also know that to enjoy a food on a day for one meal is fine if I eat healthy the majority of the time. After losing a child and surviving breast cancer, I realize that life is to enjoy. All in moderation! Here is to being healthy and enjoying life at the same time.
