Doing Great, New Challenge

I have been a Spark community member for over 2 years. In that time I have lost about 20 pounds. More important I have incorporated physical activity into my life and have learned to eat healthily. The new challenge is acid reflux, leading to an inflamed esophagus and other GI symptoms. I'm turning back to the Spark community for support in identifying trigger foods, using medication appropriately, and not freaking out. I know this is manageable and I know I can do it.

My Goals:

1) 150 minutes of cardio a week
2) At least 3 times of strength and flexibility
3) Plan ahead for difficult eating situations
4)Be kind to myself if I make a mistake.



My Program:
1) Outdoor walk, bike, etc. 3 times a week

2) 45-60 minute gym workout 3 times a week (include strength, flexibility, and aerobic)

4) Stay in 1500 calorie limit.

Hi birthday twin, My goal is to be at 135 by my birthday. that's 20 lbs for me (probably a little more after today). I think its do-able. How about you? What's your birthday goal weight? kim

Hi Suzy, I just joined the 50 group and the 12 by 12/12/12 challenge and I just read a post by you saying you want to lose by your 60th birthday, Jan 29th, 2013.
You're my birthday twin. Yay! I will be 53 on Jan 29th. Hope we can encourage each other along the way. I love this group! Really need it at this time of my life! kim
