Hello, liked reading about your weight loss and your thoughts and wisdom. You have really given me a lot to think about. The gym would be a good place to start, but slowly, I do not want to keel over! tI is time I became really serious about the food I put into my mouth. Another sparkie said "make it your business, NOT a hobby" to do the correct things to lose the weight and get fit. ate 534 calories over my cal limit today, not proud.../congratulations on the work you have done to lose your weight
Thank you so much for your encouragement and your words of wisdom. I especially liked the pages of a book analogy-very true and something I will remember on my long journey to my goal weight. I have struggled my whole adult life (I just turned 60) with my weight, and I have lost and gained so many pounds over the years, but this is the first time I have ever felt I can do this program long term and take off the 110 pounds I need to lose. You are the first person to write to me and I can't tell you how good it made me feel to see I had a message from someone other than my daughter who is also a Sparker. You look really good in your photo-do you have a lot to lose yet?
You are on your way! Great weight loss. This journey we are on seems to take different paths everyday. If we were perfect we would not need Spark people for support. This is my personal philosophy about my weight loss journey: I like to think of daily food control like the pages of a book. One page (day) is not very thick, hardly seems worth the effort, but when I close the book the thickness of all the pages (days) together really have an impact. It is up to me to decide if the story is a good one.
