My Goals:
Broader goals:
* Keep up the cardio fitness, as close to daily as possible. I like the side effect profile a LOT better than prozac :-P
* Keep aware of my eating habits, particularly keeping track of those afternoon snacks...

Fitness goals:
* Run a 10K in under an hour.
* I'd love to, just once in my life, actually do a pull-up...

My Program:
* Pay attention to portion size and my appetite. Eat only when I'm actually hungry, and not eat more than I need.

* Maintain a regular exercise program of 45 mins at least 5-6 times a week

* actually bother to include resistance training (mostly upper body, darn it my legs get enough work) 2-3X weekly

Personal Information:
I live in the Bay area, SF. I am a clinical child psychologist with my own practice, I'm studying for my personal trainer cert to add fitness for kids self esteem programs to my psych practice. I am also addicted to knitting, and design and sell my own patterns:

I really liked the comment you made on JODIANN421's blog about denial. I agree completely with what you said, except I'm just now in the beginning of realizing it. Well I was good at a few sports once upon a time, but after an injury it spiraled and then starting seeing myself the way you explained. Even when I was really active I saw myself as overweight due to other peoples criticism when in fact I just wasn't a stick. After that came that dark cloud of denial and thinking I could never be that person etc and it took several yrs to realize what the heck am I doing to myself! I def don't deserve this! Starting to do a work out plan of just walking right now regularly is tough beacuse it's just so hot out! yay for Orlando weather haha. But your comment (and her blog) really helped me alot today and I think I'm gonna go change and go for a walk so thanks emoticon
