Hi I'm Sue. A 40 year old mother of one from Queensland, Australia.

I'm an IT professional so I sit on my butt all day.

I seem to have struggled with my weight ever since I was 18. I've lost large amounts before but got a wake up call recently when I realised I was so close to 100kg it was frightening.

My health woes shoved me into action because I need exercise to free up my body which is stiffened by 22 years at a keyboard and to cure some mild sleep apnea.

Find peace with my mind, body and soul, and treat her far better than I do.

My 2009 resolutions are:
1. Get thee to a doctor. I keep putting off the appointments I need to make.
2. Continue to exercise and add some more regular fun things to this
3. Become a healthy, happy person by losing weight and feeding my soul
4. Make more friends, particularly in my local area

My Program:
Healthy eating
Pilates for an hour a week

A year into changes to my life. I need to get my heart rate up more often. I'm thinking about adding swimming, walking, gardening.

I live in Queensland, Australia and grew up in Newcastle, NSW.

I just wanted to post a quick Welcome to the CHAIR EXERCISE TEAM. We're so glad to have you join us. Please jump in and have a good time getting healthy. This is an excited group of folks and really active team so you should be able to find all sorts of inspiration and motivation. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask. There's always someone willing to help in any way possible. Don't forget to use the food/water tracker that spark people provides as well as the fitness tracker. Welcome to The Chair Exercise Team!!!
We are an active and friendly team and love our exercise .. we not only cater for disabilities, a lot of our members just love the chair exercise and the camaraderie of this team.
We are here to help you to realise your dream of fitness and health in fact, we encourage exercise of some sort or another.
This help to keep the heart rate up and the blood flowing through our bodies.
We also encourage our members to look after their Nutrition.
We have several challenges going on and heaps of fun thing to do!

You will find all the help you need in the forums and if there is anything we can do to help please let us know ..
It is advisable to create a Spark Page and to check out the Nutrition and Exercise Trackers .. it is a well know fact that Sparkies that interact do much better.
