I've joined Spark People to try to lose about 20 pounds. I've got 10 pounds of post-baby weight that I haven't lost yet, and then I gained another 5 after I stopped nursing.

My husband is in Afghanistan, and he's coming home in September (exact date TBD). I want to lose as much weight as I can before our reunion.

Hey! The 17 day diet is actually going really well! I'm down 3lbs in the first week. The first three days I did get headaches at night (apparently from the lack of sugar), and I cheated a little with a handful of goldfish one night and a marshmallow the next night, but I still went down in weight and the headaches weren't terrible.

I just got my cast of from breaking my leg, so I have to start slow, but I'm going to try for 20 minutes at the gym 4x a week and walking the dog every night. I'm also going to focus on only eating out 3x a week (sadly a huge improvement for me). Do you have a plan you're trying to stick with?

I'm starting today too and looking for some friends to help keep me motivated. We're pretty close in goals, I'm trying to go from 165 to 140, so maybe we can help each other reach our goals!
