Hi everyone

I wish you all a happy New Year and great accomplishments! I started this year about 28 lbs lighter than I was at the beginning of March 2011.
It feels great to wear clothes that look more flattering.
Most importantly is the fact that I feel better on the inside as well. All my blood work is improved without drugs and BP is much improved! I lost my dear Dad on Dec 10th. My mom is living with me since my dad passed away and her health is much improved because she is eating the ...

Most importantly is the fact that I feel better on the inside as well. All my blood work is improved without drugs and BP is much improved! I lost my dear Dad on Dec 10th. My mom is living with me since my dad passed away and her health is much improved because she is eating the foods I eat. It amazes me that proper nutrition can heal us. It is important to eat whole foods and dump sugar and excess carbs. Stay away from processed foods and vegetable oils. Eat plenty of healthy fat and grass fed meats. This will balance our Omega3 deficiency. I am so greatful that I learned this because my doctor recommended reading "Food Rules" by Catherine Shanahan, and told me not to eat low fat, reduced fat anything. Use real butter and whole milk and eat eggs. My weight has been going down and melting away fat by eating more fat. I have great energy and no longer suffer from sugar lows. I am not always feeling hungry or deprived. It is so contrary to what we have been led to believe. I am my own experiment and boy, I am reaping the benefits of feeling great. My mom too. She is 86 and she looks more vibrant and more energetic too. She also told me the other day that what I'm feeding her is helping her digestion and elimination.
That is an important factor for her.

I look forward to my first full year with Spark. It has been great in helping keep track of foods eaten and exercise. Making friends is always a plus too! Thanks all!!
