Nothing tastes as good as thin feels

I have been married for 35 years to the same wonderful man. I have 3 kids and my oldest son blessed us with 2 beautiful grandchildren. My daugher just moved to Nashville, TN. We are recent empty nesters. My husband and I enjoy cruising, karaoke, 4 wheeling and hanging out with friends. We have a wonderful group of friends who we karaoke with every weekend.

My Goals:
My goal is to lose 10 to 15 pounds but my main goal is to tone and be healthy

My Program:
I am using the South Beach diet to reach my goals but I have also started trying to eat clean and healthy. I try to do strength training & Cardio 6 days a week with 1 rest day, usually Sundays.

Personal Information:
I live in Memphis, TN. I have been married for 35 years and have 3 kids and 2 beautiful grandchildren. My family keeps growing and I want to be healthy enough to keep up with them.

Other Information:
My main goal is to feel better and to be toned. I am trying very hard to change myself for the better and to live a healthier lifestyle.

Welcome to Smart Carbing!! We are really happy that you joined us. We are a very friendly group and have many successful and knowledgeable members. Our members are on all kinds of plans such as Atkins, South Beach, Protein Power, Low Glycemic. etc. What we share in common is a desire to eat high quality carbs and leave behind the processed sugary ones that cause medical problems and obesity.
