Losing is winning ;)
I joined Sparkpeople on my 36th birthday - I know I've been overweight ever since my pregnancy with my son - he's now 6 & 1/2 and while I lost 20 pounds once a couple of years ago, I gained it all back within 6 months. Birthdays are a sure reminder that we don't have forever to work on losing the weight - the longer I wait the harder it's going to get.... So, I'm back again, hopefully this time to stay and keep losing for good.... 3/30/2009 - joined SP but did NOTHING 4/6/2009 - weighed in after DEPRESSING shopping spree - 190 lbs! 4/13/2009 - 185 lbs 4/20/2009 - 182 lbs 4/27/2009 - 178 lbs 5/4/2009 - 176 lbs Aug/2009 - Returned from Turkey 3 lbs lighter at 173.... 6/04/2010, I am back up to 186 lbs!!! Aaags. 6/11/2010 - 182 lbs .... I'm on the road again :)

My Goals:
1. Quit Caffeine! (I believe it's affecting my asthma and joints) 2. Cut WAAAAYYY back on wheat. Gluten Free is something I toy with sometimes but for now cutting back is enough for me. 3. Make very healthy food choices - eat more raw vegetables and fruit, salads, healthy soups, AND track daily calories as best as I can. 4. Start an exercise routine.... eventually!
My Program:
I am following a Calorie Restricted diet (Using SP nutrition tracker). I will try to excercise more....

I am Canadian.
Other Information:
I want to get my body to a place where I feel good in it, not just like I'm wearing many uncomfortable layers that I can never take off no matter how much I undress... I also want to feel healthy enough to not struggle with asthma and also get a good nights sleep!
