No Clowning Around

Hi, my name is Suzanne and I have been a professional clown for 20 years. I have fought with my weight since I was 16. I have lost it several times, only to gain it back. Bad habits and emotional eating have taken their toll on my figure, and it has impacted me both professionally as well as personally. My biggest regret is what it is doing to my kids. I have a lot of goals for the year, but losing the weight and becoming fit and not fat is my top priority. I am so glad this forum is here ...

Suzanne,

I am sure it would be easier to stay on your spark plan while in sunny Florida as opposed to the chilly cold weather in Chicago. I am in the Northwest, in the south east corner of of Washington State in the desert. We are cold, but it has been sunny through the holidays so far. We get at least 200 days a year of sun here in Tri-Cities (kennewick). I love it here for that reason, we are surrounded by sagebrush and tumbleweeds. Yes like the old western movies we have huge tumbleweeds that blow around in the the windy days of the year. They love to collect in the corners of the fence in our one acre ranch.

I am glad you are swimming, it really is a great way to get good cardio and strengthen the shoulders, back and arms.

You should look up miniatures horse ranches in your state and find one close enough to make a day trip and visit. It is so amazing to just spend some time with them. There is something about the outside of a horse that is good for the in side of your soul. It really is amazing to be around these little ones.
