    Hi, I also have RA, so I hear you as far as your lack of mobility in exercising because I have the same struggle as you. I can walk fast for about 10 min. max and I pay for it with so much pain later on! I mean so I can hardly walk later on. I know that with our recumbent bike, I can do that without so much pain, but I need to get the ambition to go out onto the cold porch and use it! I just gave up on walking so I know that getting on that bike sounds alot nicer now. I can walk slower I know, but won't get the same good feeling, but something we have to live with with RA! I have around 50 more pounds to lose with being on Prednisone and I feel I can do it because I've already lost 25 and 12# before SP!!! So it IS possible, where I didn't think so before SP!!!!! I added you as my friend because seem that we are alot alike! Take care and good luck to you!! emoticon

    Girl you are doing great! Keep it up and the fact that you are going to the gym is sooo good! emoticon That is still my goal but dealing with the food first. Like you I also try to drink more water, hate the many bathroom trips. Can't be easy as a teacher to keep running to the toilet emoticon Try to take a few minutes each day for yourself and add a minute each day, even if you start with just 5 minutes. emoticon

    Hi there. I read your blog. really hoping you can stay motivated! There's no guilt in taking some time for yourself daily. Have you tried a recumbant bike? My mother has Rheumatoid arthritis and she loves to use mine. She says it's much easier on her than a regular bike.
