My New Life! :0)

I am a 39 year-old single mom. I have 5 children ages 19, 14, 11, 8, and 5. My 11 year-old is the only girl. I LOVE Salsa dancing, scrapbooking, reading, knitting, crocheting, and cross-stitching. I don't get a lot of time to do all of these things but I somehow squeeze in some of it here and there!
I LOVE Weight Watchers because it is the only diet that I've ever lost weight with although I've never actually joined. I cannot handle a diet that restricts me totally from certain foods, ...

I LOVE Weight Watchers because it is the only diet that I've ever lost weight with although I've never actually joined. I cannot handle a diet that restricts me totally from certain foods, so this works out great. It's all about portion control. My problem is that I keep gaining it back every time I get pregnant! I think that now that I'm done having children, I should be able to keep off the weight.
My goal is not only to diet and lose weight but to eat healthier so as to model this for my children and to be able to keep it off. I weighed 183lbs when I delivered my last child. I was then diagnosed with hypothyroidism. Once on medication I was able to start losing. I started spark ppl when I was 173lbs. I now weigh 140lbs. and would LOVE to get down to 125-130lbs. I believe I will get there, not on my own, but with God's help and with the help of my peers.

1 Peter 1:13-16
New International Version (NIV)
Be Holy

13 Therefore, with minds that are alert and fully sober, set your hope on the grace to be brought to you when Jesus Christ is revealed at his coming. 14 As obedient children, do not conform to the evil desires you had when you lived in ignorance. 15 But just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do; 16 for it is written: “Be holy, because I am holy.”

Hi Susan,
Welcome to the Partnership Accountability to the Finish Line team! We are happy to have you with our team. Please feel free to introduce yourself to the team, if you have not already done so. Be sure to read the thread: Click Here: To help find a partner and learn what to do next". It will help you find someone who has similar goals, likes, dislikes, or someone close to your age if you prefer. You will both be able to support, encourage, and just be there for each other, while on your way in reaching your goals.

If you need help finding someone or help of any kind, please let me know, as I am here to help you in anyway I can. Hope you enjoy and are able to achieve your goals on this team or any others you might join.

Have a great day!!
