I'm a 40 year old mom and massage therapist. I've spent the last 15 years going from overweight to obese and back again. I don't want to spend another year uncomfortable in my own body! I have about 120 pounds to lose overall, but I really just want to feel better and be a better example to the people I help at work.

My Goals:
My first big goal WAS to lose 70 pounds by our Disney trip in October, but since I have started lifting weights and that can skew what I see on the scale, I've changed it. I now want to be a size 18 by our trip. The last time we went (in 2011) I was miserable after the first day due to pain in my knees and feet. I don't want to go through that again! It's probably our last big Disney trip as a family before my daughter is grown, and I want nothing but good memories. And I want to have good pictures of myself while I'm there!

My Program:
Right now I'm really focusing on my calories, making sure I'm getting the right nutrients and fiber, and building a collection of healthy recipes that I love so that I never get bored.

I've started adding in exercise on a regular basis. I try to get in upper body toning every other day, and cardio around 4 times per week. Even though I've lost 30 pounds I still have 90 to go, and the arthritis in my knees lets me know it! I'm hoping to add in lower body exercises when I'm down maybe 30 more pounds.

Personal Information:
I live in Panama City, FL. I hope to look decent in a bathing suit by the end of summer! I know I won't be perfect, but I want to be more confident. Right now I usually feel like the biggest woman at the beach, so I'll settle for average this year. Next year I'll shoot for smoking hot.
