Susan's Success Story

I have finally decided to take care of myself. I have spent so much time and energy in the last 10 years taking care of everyone else that I need to focus on me. I realize the best gift I can give my children, my husband and my friends is a healthy me. That is why I'm here. One small step at a time, I'm going to take back my life and my health!!

Thank you so much for the insight on the 205! That's exactly what I needed. I'm sold! I can't wait to try it out! Thanks again!

emoticon HAPPY SPARKVERSARY emoticon

Staying with this for a year is a HUGE accomplishment, because you know how many others began when you did and they QUIT. What you have done is just wonderful. You have done SO much.
So happy YOU kept working on your goals and loved yourself. Bless your heart. Next year will be even better! emoticon

Albany NY? I went to college in Oneonta. I was in awe of the people almost finished before I finished my first mile, but I have come to terms with the fact that I am just not there and I still went out and finished it. I think if we keep going out there we can get faster and faster. Good luck in your training. Keep me posted on your progress.

I am signing up for the Susan G Komen Global Race for the Cure 5k on June 6th. I am trying to get some people to run in a group. I'll post a blog soon about how people can donate to the cause under my running or what ever. Then after that on June 20th, run I am going to Run Amuck which is a 4 mile obstacle course with a mudd pitt at the end. What is your next race?
