Time to change my life

Update--- I am now 28 years old. I have succesfully kept off 62 pounds since 2005. I am trying to get rid of the last 30-40 lbs a little bit at a time. I have turned into a workout junkie, a healthy food eater and an online motivator. Hoping Sparkpeople can help hold me accountable on my journey.

Old Intro

Im tired of always being stuck in a rut and feeling like my weight has happened TO me, instead of something that I have subconciously chosen for myself. Im tired of excuses, of choosing food over so many other thing sin life, when really it doesn't help me in the long run at all. I am ready to feel great in my skin, not just good. To shop for sexy clothes that I know will fit. To return to my positive attitude about weight loss and accomplish the goal of permanently losing weight and actually changes my lifestyle instead of just crash dieting for once. Since I was ten years old , this has been something I always wated to do. Ive tried numerous times and have always given up. Im almost 26, and happy with so many other things in my life. Its time to get real. Count the calories, get my butt to the gym and believe that this time, I can succeed.

Goal 1: Lose 60 pounds

My Program:
Eating between 1300-1700 cals per day, and working out 30-45 mins of cardio ( 325 calories burned per day ish.)

Welcome to the Living Binge Free team. I see you've already come a long way, but I know what it's like to know I still have some adjustments to make. I'm sure we both know it's counterproductive to be too strict about the wrong things. I'm a believer in fierce moderation! I'm so glad for you that you seem to be getting this at a much younger age than I did. There is so much else to life than our eating and our bodies! I'm a fan of a very old OA motto: three meals a day and LIFE in between. I'm still learning the life part... emoticon
