My Goals:
Limit caffeine to before noon only, and ONLY 2 cups of coffee and/or one 12-ounce Diet Soda!

Increase exercise to 4-5 days a week, 45-60 minutes a day (currently at 2-3 days/wk at 30 min)

Get in 5 fruits and vegetables a day (again- had this down at one time, believe it or not!)

My Program:
I have started to absorb a LOT from the site!

Organizing and saving recipes from site and other resources.

Recently I started working with a heart rate monitor with the help of a personal trainer... am still learning those workouts but I'm enjoying them! Now its time to rev up a lil weight training!

Log EVERYTHING that goes in my mouth every day!

Tell myself I'm worth it, for God doesn't make worthless! :)

Personal Information:
My main reason for committing to better nutrition and fitness is my health. I have had high blood pressure since my early 20's. I also had my thyroid removed last year, and found out I had thyroid cancer. In trying to regulate my thyroid meds it has been a challenge with my metabolism. Also I'm starting to feel some aches and pains with age :)





Other Information:
Other important things in my life: My faith, my family, my career as a mental health professional, my piano students, and my passion for animal rescue and rights.
