I'm a 49 year old single Mom who fell off the healthy eating & excercise wagon sometime around October or November 2008. I was EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED in myself. I worked so hard and was so dedicated & was almost at my goal. In just a few short months, my weight shot up, my clothes got tighter, & I was back into my 'fat' clothes. What's worse, I couldn't seem to get back ON the wagon!!!
My 'get up & go' was gone, along with my iron will & my motivation. BUT NOT ANY MORE!!!
For the record, the healthy weight range for my height is between 105 - 140 lbs, which would also put me at a BMI of between 18.6 and 24.8. So, I set myself a new goal of 115 - 125 back in November 2009.
I was definitely desperately in need of help - help to get started again, help to continue, help to stay with it. I found my motivation when I joined Jari Love's 5-Weeks-to-Santa-Slimdown Bootcamp in November 2009. I got down to 145 and in January started Jari Love's 2010 Weight Loss Bootcamp Challenge. I lost not a pound and seemed to have hit my new Set Point at 145-ish. I haven't given up, joining Jari Love's Spring Transformation Bootcamp and am now down to 115.4 lbs as of August 22, 2010!!! I will walked/ran the Subaru Half Marathon on May 30, 2010 - my first such endeavour. I cut 40 minutes off my time at the Canmore Half Marathon on September 12th. I want to be the best Me I can be - healthy, full of vitality, fit....
After my 2 pregnancies & my weight loss I was left with a lot of flabby, unsightly, excess skin and no boobs.
So, on October 14th I had a Tummy Tuck & small Breast Implants. So, between October 14/10 - January 2, 2011 I didn't do much exercising. I still managed to keep my weight stable until Christmas. The bad news - I'm 5 lbs over my goal weight range of between 115 - 125. The good news, I KNOW it will come off quickly as I get back into my healthy, active lifestyle AND my clothes still fit the same as they did when I was at between 115 - 125 lbs. I am optimistic & incredibly happy to be back to running & weight training! HAPPY 2011!!!
January 2/08 - Weight 155.6
February 2/08 - Weight 147.2
March 8/08 - Weight 143.4
Total inches lost = 9.25"
June 23/09 - Weight 156!!! OMG - how did this happen?
June 8/10 - Weight 130.8 - go me!
July 30/10 - Average weight since June 16 - 126.2
Aug. 22/10 - 115.4 lbs - OMG - I FINALLY did it!!!
Now to maintain an average weight of
between 115 - 120 lbs.
I now KNOW I can do this!!!
Jan. 03/11 - 130.0 lbs. Okay, so I gained back
almost 15 lbs, & I'm 5 lbs above my
goal weight range of 115 - 125. BUT...
I'm back on the healthy lifestyle wagon
& back to training so I have no fear that
I'll be back down to between 115 - 125
by the end of February 2011.
My new goals for 2010:
* Brisk walk for at least
1 hour at least 3
times a week
* Do a RIPPED work
out at least 3 times
a week (strength
* STOP eating
high-cal & junk food
* Get back to tracking
what I eat daily
* Eat a minimum of
1,200 calories a day
* Eat a maximum of

On July 2, 2007 I weighed 166.4 lbs. By September 17th I was down to 142.2 lbs.
By December 17 I was up to 155.6 and by May 2009 I was back up to 156! Boo-urns!

I have two wonderful children. Dane is 19, a talented musician, performer, song writer, and lives with me. Savannah is a 23 year old university student, a talented writer and she recently moved back in with me. My ex and I are close friends. I am a Chartered Herbalist who just got layed off, so I'm looking for a new job/career path. We live with Arthur-the-Cat & Fionnegan the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel in the little bungalow I grew up in here in SW Calgary, Alberta, Canada. My favourite hobbies are reading, Jari Love's Ripped! classes/bootcamps, gardening, belly dancing, hiking, scuba diving, horsebackriding and music.
As well as being on a Journey to optimal health, beginning with REGAINING CONTROL over my weight, I am on a spiritual Journey. I am really learning a lot from Eckhart Tolle's newest book, 'A New Earth' and am taking his online workshop, too.
I am currently loving the Get Ripped! Bootcamp I'm in.

My name is Mahima and I live in India. I was looking for some help with the Slim in 6 programme. The thing is that being in India, I cant buy the Slim In 6, so Im downloading it off the internet. The downside of that is that I only get the video, not any of the written material... i read online (through user reviews on beachbody.com) that theres a slimming formula, a diet plan and the exercise plan (start it up on week 1, ramp it up week 2 n 3, burn it up week 4,5 n 6.) The diet plan is something i dont have, and what is this slimming formula?? I sure hope there is no medication involved in this..
I dont expect u type the entire thing out for me... Although if u cd scan and mail it to me that wd be amazing... but what im really asking for is a paragraph or two from u just explaining the basics of the diet plan.. the calorie range... do i need to abstain from ALL sugars as well or just stay in the calorie range... is there any specific thing that they r going heavy on... protiens for example..??? ur help would be massively appreciated!!
