Here I am again. I found Sparkpeople in 2007 and started out strong, I thought, but soon lost sight of my goals. Before long I quit loging ALL of my if by not putting it down I didn't take in those calories. Soon that moved to not weighing in and then not logging in at all. My weight balooned to 286 pounds at my April doctors appointment. I am 36 years old with GERD, Type 2 Diabetes, early bone loss and broken ribs, pleurisy, depression and sheer exhaustion. I need to do something! I have four children and a wonderful husband who need me! So I have been doing this slowly. July 22, 2010, I did a search for a healthy chicken recipe and one that popped up was a Sparkpeople recipe. I wondered if my old account was still there and it sure enough was. I decided to go back to Sparkpeople and this time explore it all. Before I hadn't utilized any of the support but now I am! I have changed my page and have gone through three years of Sparkmail...weew! I did change my begining weight to the 286 and lost some before restarting this program but I decided I needed that motivation. School will start soon and my goal is to not blow this opportunity off, blaming my busy life. Sparkspeople, I'm glad you are here!

My Program:
I am keeping up with my Sparkpeople Food Tracker, watching portion size, calories and fat grams. I am taking vitamins and drinking 80oz of water a day. Nine of my dear friends at work and I are encouraging each other to have healthier lifestyles and now walk on our lunch. I am also trying to incorporate more time at home to get excercise.

Personal Information:
I am blessed to have my best friend, Greg, as my husband. We have four wonderful children; Kyle-19, Lena-18, Shelly-17, and Madison-7. I teach Family and Consumer Sciences and sponsor FCCLA. I love my church and my Sunday School class.

Other Information:
I enjoy Beth Moore, Vici Courtney and Pricilla Shire. I love to read, going to the movies, and baking. My favorite stores are Mardell, Hobby Lobby, TJ Max, and Goodwill.
