Hello! My name is Sarah and I'm 33 years old. I'm a mother to a handsome 6 year old boy, a beautiful 4 year old girl, and recently a 7 month baby boy! Unfortunately, every time I look in the mirror I see myself gaining more and more weight. I'm tired of it! I'm tired of not recognizing myself! I'm just tired of being FAT. I'm in the business of a lifestyle change. I lost almost 30 pounds when I first used this site (LAST YEAR!). I'm a firm believer that quick fixes, pills, starving yourself--are NOT THE ANSWER. It's all about you, MAKE IT COUNT!
I just want to lose the weight and keep it off. It's easy to say such a thing, but it's truly a journey to keep at it and to KEEP IT OFF. I'm doing if for me, no one else, and I think that's where I've always had it wrong. To focus on the lifestyle change will always be the goal.
I try and stay around 1200-1500 calories a day. I also try to aviod eating pastas, poatoes (which is hard to do!), and any obvious carbs. No added salts, and I really take it easy on diary products. I LOVE cheese, it's a hard battle.
My name is Sarah and I'm 5' 9'' and I started out weighing 187lbs. Recently I added jogging to my daily (mon-Fri) workout. I try, TRY to work out everyday during the week. I feel so guilty if I don't. I finally got to a point in my life where the working out REALLY DOES WORK OUT. I made time and I work it! I love what I'm finally being able to see. I've dreamed for years about this, I'm on fire baby!
I like to read, write, paint, and get out on the town. I love beer! ales, reds, ambers, seasonals, stouts, and even porters. I'm a sucker for a good hearty beer. Obviously, it's something that takes a backseat with a diet, but, hell, I've got to live too! My husband and I like touring the local brewrys in Washington and Oregon.

Hi, so far I love Insanity. I am getting ready to start month 2 tomorrow, I just finished recovery week. I haven't seen a huge change on the scale so far, only a four pound loss, but I've noticed a huge difference in my fitness level. I'm so much stronger! I started this because I wanted to increase my endurance so I could jog longer. I noticed on your spark page you have two little ones 2 years apart. I have two boys (6 and 4) that's a great age difference!
