Living my life One Day at a Time!

Every year since I joined Spark People. I have changed my page. This year has been difficult enough due to my health issues. Well no more. I am going to live my life One Day at a Time. Let the chips fall where they may.

I am getting back on the weight loss wagon. I am watching my salt, claories and carbs. I have set a goal to lose 5lb between now and the end of May.

I CAN DO IT!

I am watching my caloric intake and exercising every day. I strength train one day and cardio on opposite days. I have started drinking 9-10 glasses of water per day. I haven't had a soda in two weeks not even an ice tea.

It transfers energy and gives the person hugged an emotional lift.
You need four hugs a day for survival,
eight for maintenance, and twelve for growth.
Scientists say that hugging is a form of communication.
because it can say things you don't have the words for.
And the nicest thing about a hug is
that you usually can't give one without getting one.

Life is like having a cup of coffee
You sit by the window, lift the cup, you take a sip...
only to realize you forgot to add sugar..
Too lazy to go for it,
you somehow struggle to finish the bitter drink.
Afterwards you discover undissolved sugar at the bottom.
That's how life is....we are sometimes lazy and blinded
to value what is around us, and live in bitterness...
Look around......maybe the sweetness of life
you are looking for is closer than you think.
