My Page.

Well, I'm finally getting around to writing something here. I got home from Iraq November 2007 and almost immediately became a vegan. It was difficult, and for a while I just couldn't do it. My wife (the lovely balelae in my friends list), had been doing it since August, so I went ahead and did it for her. Now I am a vegetarian (mostly).

My Goals:
Well, since I'm 237 pound and the Army says I have to be at or below 173 pounds, I'd like to get there. Short-term goal though is to lose enough to be within body fat standards.

My Program:
There's daily PT, along with watching what I eat and I'd like to start more muscle training as well. I also use various games that utilize the Wii Balance Board.

Just wanted to say thanks for serving our country and be safe. My hubby was Army for 10 yrs. and it was so hard being away from him so much, but we managed it all. Being a military wife takes a lot out of you but being the soldier having to leave I image would be the hardest. So, with that said, "Thanks!"

thankyou for serving. I'm currently waiting for my daughter to return from serving overseas. So, what inspired you to go vegan then?

Hi, where were you stationed in Iraq? My husband came home in Nov 2007 as well. All the good state side food was too much for him to handle though and he gained a lot after coming back. Glad to see you took the healthy route.
