I'M BAAAAAAAAAAAACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HEY EVERYONE!!!!!!!!! I've been super duper busy so I haven't had the opportunity to chat with all of you about our successes, achievements, milestones etc in the crazy roller coaster that we call weight loss. I'm happy to report that I have obtained my goal weight and now I'm working on losing more. However, I've been on a bit of a sliding scale (no pun intended, LOL) because I've gone to McD's more times than I care to count.

On the flipside, I've been going to the gym regularly ...

I'm happy to report that I have obtained my goal weight and now I'm working on losing more. However, I've been on a bit of a sliding scale (no pun intended, LOL) because I've gone to McD's more times than I care to count.

On the flipside, I've been going to the gym regularly and I recently changed my workout program. One of the trainers who did my workout schedule commented that she noticed I lost weight and this has pushed me even further to extend my goals.

Now that the holidays are coming up, I'm DETERMINED not to get caught up with all the food and to always be mindful of what I'm eating. Does that mean I'm gonna swear off desserts??!!????? Of course not! That's totally unreasonable for me. I'll just have smaller portions :)

My Goals:
Goals:

Stop eating ketchup. (I'm a ketchup fanatic so I'll have to wean myself from it).

Stop consuming salt: I've already started to do this and I feel so much better!

Stop skipping breakfast.

Start exercising

Start making healthy meals and snacks

When grocery shopping, try to stick to the outer areas of the store, i.e. shop more in areas where there are vegetables, fruits, etc....

Start eating whole wheat bread


My Program:
-Go to the gym 3-4 times a week

-Abdominal exercises every other day or so.

-Incorporate yoga and pilates into fitness regimen

-Stretch before and after workouts

I had a question about your BBQ Hair team: should I join if I'm asking questions for someone else? My baby sister (half-sister, I guess) is mixed, her dad is black but is out of the picture and so are his sisters. My mother has really thin, straight, Danish/German hair and has no idea how to take care of my sister's (she's 10 now) so she just keeps cutting all the poor girl's hair off instead of trying to figure out a way to take care of it. Mine is thick curly, but not quite as coarse or as tightly curled. Any suggestions? Or should I join the team? Thanks :)
