Update on progress

01.22.14:
In quick summation, I lost my way in my weight loss journey since June, 2013 for the reasons listed below:

1. Infected tooth caused severe tooth pain. Fought the pain for as long as I could and managed to live through the trauma. Began using Sensodyne toothpaste which helped immensely and I began to brush my teeth at least 2x/day, through the pain, which eventually disappeared.

In quick summation, I lost my way in my weight loss journey since June, 2013 for the reasons listed below:

1. Infected tooth caused severe tooth pain. Fought the pain for as long as I could and managed to live through the trauma. Began using Sensodyne toothpaste which helped immensely and I began to brush my teeth at least 2x/day, through the pain, which eventually disappeared.

2. Took temporary office job to help a local company with a project they needed to complete.

3. Infected tooth pain came back and tooth was extracted just after Thanksgiving, 2013.

4. Temp job ended at end of year which I was depending on for income and living expenses.

5. But, I had real estate to fall back on and the Good Lord blessed me with substantial business to tend to. But, the winter weather caused problems in setting up appointments and working the business.

6. Then as if I hadn't had enough, I swerved off the road due to icy conditions this past weekend on my way home from having been out with clients and haven't been able to get back into my car.

I'm not trying to make you feel sorry for me. I'm just documenting some of what I've experienced over the last 6 months so that I could now gladly and joyfully announce to you that I have had some breathing room to review and revamp my health and nutrition journey here at SP.

I am very happy to say that I am now ready to get things going again .... and this time I will continue on to successfully accomplishing my desired goals to lose weight.

I have reset my goals within my own team for myself and have asked if others on the team want to join me in this journey as we start the new year.

What's happened in the past has happened in the past and will stay in the past. I am focusing my efforts on reaching my weight loss goals this year by tracking and accounting for the activities and mindsets needed.

Just a fiasco of incidents and circumstances causing me to lose my focus and my efforts towards losing weight and gaining the needed good nutritional habits.

But, after watching this week's Biggest Loser, I am again motivated and have the right mindset to conquer my weight and succeed this time .... once and for all.

Listed below are the goals I have set up for my successful weight loss journey:

Weigh-in 1x/week each & every week and track it in trackers
Exercise 10 minutes minimum each & every day
Eat a healthy breakfast each & every day
Drink minimum (8) 8 oz. glasses of water each & every day
Huddle with my team at least once each & every day
Pray EVERY MORNING
Pray EVERY NIGHT
NO SNACKS
Facial Yoga Exercises 3x/day, 7 days/week
Brush my teeth 2x/day minimum
Continue my daily devotional ministry with fellow "SPer"

These are just a few of my goals I will hold myself accountable to. There are others that are more personal but they are all noted within my trackers here at SP.

So please feel free to join with me and start over for the final and last time. It's always easier to accomplish tasks when you have the support of others, as you do here at SP, to see you through to a successful completion of your desired weight loss goals.

My Goals:
We have a new year upon us with 2014 and with that new year come new goals for me:
1) Live every day working towards my weight goals
2) Implement into my daily schedule a routine of exercise and nutrition that will help speed me on to my needed results
3) Exercise a minimum of 10 minutes a day without fail
4) Exercise before showering every morning
5) Showering before starting my day's work
6) Have my SP time which will put my mindset right where it needs to be
7) Take 5 minutes out of every hour to walk without fail
8) Plan and schedule my time more efficiently



My Program:
By implementing and maintaining the above "goals", I will be on an "even-keel" schedule day in and day out and exercise and nutrition will become second nature to me.

Personal Information:
In the two years (going on three) that I have been here at SP, I can honestly say that I am feeling better about myself and I have corrected my mindset to a more positive way of thinking.

Challenges available here at SP have helped me incorporate many, new and encouraging methods to my lifestyle and I plan on continuing to improve and enhance on these throughout the new year.

Other Information:
I have developed many close bonds to many of the people I've come to know here at SP and, if it weren't for them, I would be much worse off than I am now.

Let me thank those of you (and you know who you are) for everything you have done for me and for everything you mean to me.

Truer friends could not be found. I am very happy that I was led here to SP almost three years ago.
