I'm very big on nutrition, & I'm also a foodie :) I am a very health-conscious person, but I want to learn to really implement all that knowledge on a regular basis forever. I also really, reeeeaaaallllllyyyyy see how much I NEED exercise in my life to regulate my mood, outlook, etc etc. I know all this stuff, & yet find myself not always living in line w/ what I know is best for me.

Soooooo, I guess it's really just mostly about teaching myself to walk the walk for the first time in my life. I've come a long way to get to this healthy mindset: I know I deserve to feel good & look good & live a healthy, active life. I want to/need to/should feel good & feel good about myself & let that shine outwardly. And this is that journey :D


I didn't think I'd be starting a sparkpage when I first started using this a week or two ago, but after viewing some other people's pages, I can definitely see how awesome it can be to share this journey. I hope I can meet other like-minded people so we can keep motivating each other!

My Goals:
Feel healthy & full of life all the time.

Love & embrace my round, feminine softness & also build strength & tone for the rest of my life.

Develop nutritional habits & a life story that I will be proud to share with clients once I begin work in the health/nutrition field.

Maintain my healthy lifestyle even as the rest of my lifestyle goes into periods of change & flux (which is pretty regular for this life-loving girl).

AND (my most fun goal) to be able to treat the world like my own personal jungle gym. I want to be doing kartwheels, hurdling over low fences, doing hanging monkeybar sit-ups, running, jumping, hula-hooping, etc etc whenever I can get away with it!!! I want to be able to play with my kids someday like I'm still just a kid myself.


My Program:
Getting some fun, strenuous physical activity everyday. Healthful, mindful eating. Cooking 'real' foods rather than eating prepared foods. Creating a healthy sense of moderation when it comes to indulgence (desserts, alcohol, late-night outtings, lazy days, whatever)

Most of all though, remember how loveable & worth it I am to myself, always always always!!!
