5/20/13: Am looking forward to a weekend seminar on FasterEFT in Oklahoma City next month. Hope it's still there when I arrive! I pray that help is fast on the way to the folks that have lost their homes, and God opens her arms to the 37 that have died! 3/31/13: Have had several great jam sessions with V &D. Loving the electric bass! 1/21/13: Had the first jam session with my electric bass a week ago Friday. It was sooooo much fun! What a natural high! Going to do it again this coming Friday. 12/30/12: Worked up a couple songs today on my electric bass: "Me and Bobby McGee" and "Day Is Done." Does that bring back any memories? 12/1/12: I just bought my first electric base and amp! Been playing guitar most of my life, but even with a small size guitar my left hand starts hurting too quickly. Had a session with V & D (my sis & her husband) last night and was practicing some bass basics on the guitar. And unlike V, I CAN sing and play the bass at the same time. Ordered on line but going to pick up at Guitar Center. Both pieces had great reviews on both Amazon and Guitar Center. New changes at 73 yrs old! 9/15: I've got a new goal: 1 # a week. Figured out I would be at goal 1/21/14! 5th day of a nasty cold. Wasted my whole vaca! Need to go out and get some cough stuff, but I have noooo energy! 8/8: Spent 1.5 hours on SparkCoach...made 51 SparkPoints...45 minutes tracking food. Why is that sooo cumbersome? Didn't have time or energy for Oxycise! 8/6: Joined SparkCoach today. See what this extra shove and resources will do to my sluggish motivation. It's free for two weeks. 7/1/12: Stalled for soooo long. New short-term goal: 5#. That will be a 10% weight loss. Better for my leg, better for my blood pressure, better for ME! 2/3/2005: Have a great job, a great husband. Want to make this life last as long as possible. My latest motto is "Have as much fun as I can till I can't!" My hubby is starting to subscribe to this too.

Visited: Japan, China, Hong Kong (before it went back to China), Macao, The Philippine Islands, and most recentlly, Canada. In this country, visited: Seattle, San Fran, Sacramento, Los Angeles, Anaheim,Fort Worth, Dallas, Flower Mound, TX, New York, Franklin, VA, Washington, DC, and somewhere in NC.
Other Information:
Stopped smoking 4/9/2001. Thyroid stopped working and I went on meds. Gained 30 pounds since then. Haven't been able to read a book since then either, and I used to consume books a lot.
