A Healthy & Fit 2012!
I'm Julie from Southwestern Ontario, Canada. I've been using SparkPeople since July 2006 and I love it! Thanks to Sparkpeople I've set and met so many personal goals! From C25K to running a 1/2 marathon! I started running for fitness, I never knew I would love to run. Who is my Sunshine?? my first born Nicholas(11) is. He has special needs and challenges. He's taught me patience and unconditional love. I can't even sing "You are my sunshine" without tears. ...

From C25K to running a 1/2 marathon! I started running for fitness, I never knew I would love to run. Who is my Sunshine?? my first born Nicholas(11) is. He has special needs and challenges. He's taught me patience and unconditional love. I can't even sing "You are my sunshine" without tears. He is now walking independantly, and I am so proud of him. His doctor has always said that yes he will walk one day, he may not run, but he will walk. So I run for him, and perhaps one day he too will run. My little Anthony(8) often runs around the house and says "I'm running! Just like mama!" what a sweetie :o) We have been blessed with our newest little blessing, Stephanie Marie (3). She was born on May 11, 2009. She now keeps me running LOL Update January 2013: Fitness: New Running Plan, Yoga Nutrition goals: Healthy Meals for the entire family Update January 2012: Fitness: Spring Thaw 5K, Yoga Nutrition goals: Continue eating healthy, avoid processed foods Set an example for the family Update January 2011: Fitness: Training for an upcoming 5K. Nutrition goals: Although I've always paid attention to healthy eating - I'm taking it one step further to avoid processed foods and enjoying wholesome Organics wherever possible. I've always read nutritional facts on labels - now I'm reading ingredients. I'm excited that the changes I make will benefit my entire family and I'm setting a good example for my kids. I'm thankful for the support of my dh as we make this change together - It's always easier to stay on track with a partner. I'm currently reading Jillian Michael's "Master your Metabolism" I've read many nutritional books before - but this one has changed my life - and there's no turning back!
