Hi! My name is Lynn. I live with my spouse and three Chihuahuas in Phoenix AZ.
Like many here, I joined SparkPeople.com to lose weight/diet (yuch - I hate that four letter word!). Now I use "manage my health".
After listening and reading a lot on this website, I decided I didn't need a diet. I learned I needed to develop a healthy lifestyle. I just didn't know what I was getting myself out of and into :-)
I just rewrote my goals, modifying my program to be reasonable and achievable. The hardest part is realizing I am talking changing daily, little by little so that at some point, the changes aren't changes anymore - it is simply the way I live.
In the process, I get to meet a lot of fantastic people (yes, I am talking about you!), get healthy, and have fun.
Who knew I would be so blessed?!

2 - Manage my tendancies - buying, cluttering, hoarding, and procrastination
4 - Simplify my life
5 - Numb out less; Live more
6 - Have fun
A- Eat a good breakfast and dinner plus 2 healthy snacks
B- Exercise or yoga 4 to 5 times weekly
C- Average 6+ hours of sleep
D- Quit buying unnecessary stuff
E- Daily decluttering
F- Actively limit TV and computer time
G- Be active, not passive

Come down to the meadow to play

Dancing and leaping

The snow lays a cover over their heads .
We got 6 inches of snow and just lazy light powder coming down tonight.
Sore from shoveling the walks but don't think it will last too long!
I built a snowman and made 3 snow angels in the front lawn!! So glad I had the mittens and boots within easy reach!

I have missed some opportunities and screwed up others. I have my share of regrets and sad edges around a relationship or two. I’ve disappointed my family, friends and even more often myself. I have complained, whined, and been noisy, and then other times been silent when I should have spoken up. But tonight I will go to sleep with a smile knowing that tomorrow is right around the corner and another chance to get it right will be waiting for me.
