Sunni Monk: Transformation to a Better ME

My name is Sunshine Monk (my parents were hippies). I am 37, recently divorced, have three sons (two grown, and a 9-year old) and two grandchildren.

I am tired of not living my life...of fearing everything...and of living with the continual anxiety associated with obesity!

I have already lost 71 pounds, so I am able to find motivation to move on. Up until now, I had not been consistently trying to lose weight, so I am anxious to see what happens when I actually TRY!

My Goals:
My main goal is to LIVE LIFE. I want to rollerblade again, and not have fears of going places or trying new things.

My Program:
I am really trying some oddball techniques, but I need to get a bit more hardcore.

-20 seconds of insane courage - a quote from "We Bought A Zoo" but I use it to help me stay away from foods I should eat, or habits I should/ not do.

-Exercise. I want to set a regimen of morning yoga or meditation, afternoon bike ride on a stationary bike, and aerobics at night. I have to work up to that.

-As for eating, I need to eat healthier. Right now, my kidney stones keeps me from wanting to eat anything, which is a challenge I am not familiar with.

-I am blogging my journey (http://www.sunnimonk.wordpress.com). I sometimes find motivation in the strangest of places. I want to share that inspiration!
