and so can I!
We are like pencils:
Our true worth lies within us
We are in God's hands and He uses us
We are sharpened in life by events and situations
We are also expected to leave a mark

Sunflowers are my favorite flower. They are bright and cheerful. They put it all out there and stretch up to the warm sunlight, bringing a smile to my face every time I see them. They start as a little seed that grows into one of the biggest flowers and then spends everyday with their face towards the sun. They grow deep, sturdy roots to keep them upright, even in the darkest, wettest storms.
Sunflowers are, for me, a visual reminder of what is good and bright in life. That even the smallest things can become great and beautiful. They remind me to keep my face turned towards the Giver of Life, the Son, and to keep standing tall even when it seems like all is dark.
I am once again a Stay At Home Mom after our 4th child surprised us. I have 3 semesters of college left to receive a BA in Education with endorsements for Pre-K through K, K-6, and Reading. I am the proud mother of a 15 year old girl, an 13 year old boy, an 11 year old girl, and our newest addition a 2 year old girl. They keep me busy, and often sometimes cause me to pull my hair out but they truly are blessing from God.
I am the wife of a wonderful man who chose to accept me as his wife in 1997, despite the fact that he was walking into a ready made family. Not only did he accept that responsibility, but he has been a wonderful father to all of his children, whether they are his by blood or not, because they are all children of his heart. He has also been the best husband anyone could have ever asked for and has truly been a gift from God.
This is not my first go around at losing weight. I had Spark'd before and lost 40 lbs before my youngest surprised us. Old habits die hard and pregnancy seems to have unlocked my old habits of not eating right and not exercising regularly. I now weigh more than I ever have before and it is causing a lot of difficulty in my life. I again have depressive episodes, I have ankles that frequently hurt under the burden of the extra weight, and a knee that constantly hurts. My cholesterol is elevated and I lack energy.
It was when I saw myself in the background of a picture that a friend took that reality smacked me in the face. I am grossly fat. So I am back to the only program that has ever helped to remedy that for me. With God, I can accomplish this goal!

Read God's word daily for support.
" Face it, lapses happen. Let the Lord pull you up by your bootstraps, dust you off and help you realize; by acknowledging the slip, you've already succeeded."
~ Troy Roness
" To begin where you are is often an overlooked step in the process. Begin where you are and reach for the stars. Visualize your process, practice in your mind, then take action and manifest your best life now!"
all I would add to this it to invite God into the process also
