Time to change this....

Funny, as I clicked edit to update my introduction my title hit me. I know it's true... but wow.

I've been detoured by a car accident that happened on September 24th. I was in my son's cavalier, completely stopped at a light (6th or 7th car back) when an Avalanche rear-ended me at 45+mph. I watched it unfold, saw him not slowing down, not paying attention (completely turned around), realized I was not in my big van and braced with the wheel turned towards the middle turn lane knowing this impact would hurt. Little did I know exactly how much it would. Months of therapy with no marked increase and 2 MRIs later I now know I have a bulging disc pressing on a nerve controlling my left shoulder and arm... 2nd MRI I find out that I have multiple bulging disc Thoracic back (think between shoulder blades area)... every single disc between T-1 & T-8 -- yes, that's 7 bulging disc. The short of it that my life has been reduced to that of pain management and drugs for the rest of my existance. I'm just not a point yet where I can accept this for my life. Yes, I do intend to fight to lose weight, for ME... though the latest news does make that goal more difficult to obtain.

So that's me, for now... this introduction will probably change again once I've had time to process the latest findings and realize that I now have to choose what to do with what's been handed to me.

My Goals:
I will become FIT!! I'm an active personality and this weight is... well, weighing me down!!

Excercise will be something I look forward to.

I want to play on a soccer team, not just watch/coach my kids

My Program:
as of now my program is not so structured. I am still finding what it is I like, enjoy & feel I can stick with. But this includes:

Turbo Jam
JM 30 Day Shred
Hip Hop Abs
Wii Fit
DDR Hotest Party 2
Music & Dancing (I can't help but to move!)

I get bored easily but am trying to structure this so I (& my body) know what's expected.

Personal Information:
I'm a single mother of 4 awesome kids. They are everything to me! All very active and involved in sports. We live in Indiana.

I also have wonderful friends & family that encourage me in my endeavors. Some of them even push me when I don't want pushed & I so need that!! I'm stubborn, what can I say?

Other Information:
I LOVE music... all kinds & my playlist (aka forward button) can easily go from Rock to Rap to Classical to Jazz -- you get the idea, whatever sounds good to me at the moment. I love finding new music & am big into Indie artists along with the rare & hard to find releases.

    Hey Janet,

    I have been away for a few weeks with work and a mini vacation. But now I am back Baby!

    I am still doing Jenny Craig. Losing about a pound a week. Wish it was 2 pounds but not feeling deprived or anything and only do it 60% of the time. Since it is hard for me to stick to pre-made food but I think it is worth doing for the next few months. I am down to 178.5 and want to lose another 5-10 pounds so I can get into a solid size 10 maybe even some 8's. I also want to look hot in a bathing suit and right now I look ok.

    Hello! How are you doing? Are you are ready for Easter? Did you give anything up for Lent? I didn't. I wish i could give up my diet coke but I am too weak. I would like to cut back though but have been struggling to due it since I am under a ton of stress at work. Hope it gets better. I start in a new location on Monday and am not looking forward to all the new changes.
