Thank you so much for the comment on my blog. I hate ultimatums but sometimes it is exactly what we need to get back on track. That is awesome that you have improved your eating habits so much and are out walking as well. I love the elliptical, I have bad knees, and use it every time I am at the gym.

Thank you again for the kind words and encouragement. They mean the world to me.

Yeah, I love Flylady! If it wasn't for the lessons that she taught me, I wouldn't be able to do Sparkpeople. By taking the babysteps, I added one habit at a time and it really started to make a difference. I had a yearly inspection today for my house and the inspectors couldn't believe the change. Last year they had to give me a warning because I had too much clutter built up. Today, the whole place was spotless. Now those 3-15 minutes that I used to use on the house, I can use for my health instead. You'd be amazed at how much that adds up and how fast.
With the fibro and CFIDS I can't do anything for very long. By just doing a few minutes at a time, I'm able to get my fitness minutes in and it doesn't wear me out. I can do a few minutes here and there, my girls (grandaughters 1 & 3 yrs old) can keep up and I don't spend so long on one thing that they get bored. The exception so far is when I take the girls out. I have enough fun that the time flies.
Sorry about running off. Can you tell that I'm excited about the things that I can do when I use her system?
If you do try her site out and like it, there's some Sparkpeople sites here that combine both systems.
    Good luck. emoticon

I found the suggestions to start small to be the most helpful. Add one thing to your day at a time. When you have that down, add something else.
Just take it one day at a time. I try to do a few things every time I stand up. I was amazed at how fast it adds up.
    Good luck.

Thanks for the friend add... I'm struggling a bit myself right now, but it's about poison ivy allergies... but it's following a very stressful year. Maybe you can read my blogs and learn a bit about what I've been through and how I'm handling it (ups and downs). I'm always glad to share about these things... hope I can help! emoticon
