Welcome Spark friends! Thank you for visiting my Spark page. I am happy to introduce myself as a child of God and a child at heart (even at 58). The Lord has chosen to keep me single so far and has filled my life to overflowing with love and people and adventures that so far has included teaching children who couldn't communicate, ministering to friends in other countries, being a doting aunt to 4 nephews and now a happy retiree.

I really actually enjoy exercise for the health of it and for the results after the work. God has given me many friends who also enjoy exercise, so I feel fortunate to have a buddy to join me most days.

My reason for coming to this site is to get the food part of healthy down. I am convinced that God within me is strong enough to not only get me here, but to press through whatever I need to learn, to change, to practice that will bring me to a healthier weight than I am. Diets haven't worked for me so this is something I have been searching and praying for for a long time. I am so glad I am here and already learning so much.

There will be Victory in Jesus and I will get there! Because nothing is impossible with God!

I love to exercise and especially like to be outside. I walk every day, dabble a little in jogging and in the winter have taken up snowshoeing. God has blessed me with several friends who like to exercise too so I am well covered in this area of my life.

Food has been my enemy and my friend and a constant struggle most of my life. I just can't seem to get the extra 40 pounds off.
Have been on every diet imaginable, so I'm ready for something that helps me lose in a healthy way for life.

So glad to have this website to come to.

My Goals:
1. To wear a new dress to a wedding in September.

2. To enjoy summer clothing by taking off layers and not trying to cover up.

3. To be an inspiration to at least one other person as they see my victories.

My Program:
1. Record food daily- staying within the calorie amount suggested. (try at least one new recipe a week)
2. Exercise at least 10 minutes everyday. (do 1 Spark workout each day)
3. Share successes with others.
4. Use Spark Coach for guidance.
