Fit for 5th!

Hey everyone,

I have been on sparkpeople for a few years now, but recently have fell way off track. I've gained 7 pounds over the past month after losing 30lbs. That will be my second wake up call. Time to get out of my lazy rut and get fit for my 5th year anniversary August 15th 2009 with my fantastic boyfriend Brian!

We are going on a mini road trip on the day of our anniversary and I cannot think of a better goal!

My Goals:
My goal is to lose 15lbs by August 15th 2009. I want to look hot and fit for my 5th year anniversary! I have two months to kick butt and really work towards a goal!

My Program:
I follow South Beach, up to phase two.

I am working towards 5 work outs a week!

I am trying super hard not to eat after 830pm on the week days and 930pm on the weekends.

Personal Information:
My name is Monique and I live in Long island, NY. Right now I work part-time for a mortgage broker and I also attend Grad school at CUNY Queens College.

I live in an adorable apartment, with my Boyfriend Brian and our trouble-maker Donnie!

My brother and his girlfriend live in the apartment above ours (2 fam house) and I couldn't be happier!

I care deeply about the people in my life and plan to be as healthy as possible to keep up with all of them!

hey, no problem! binging is one of my biggest obstacles, so i know very well that out of control can't stop yourself feeling. it sucks! one other thing that has helped me - if i feel like eating junk one day, i'll plan ahead on the food tracker and make sure i can fit in the junk while staying within or close to my calorie limit. doing that TOTALLY takes all the guilt out of eating "bad" food, and i think, ironically enough, that guilty feeling is what triggers the binge most of the time!

good luck with your anniversary goal! it's totally doable - just keep your eye on the prize :)
