My life long goal has been to lose weight and have failed every time. I need serious help. I would like to share this experience with someone who really understands. I would like to find someone who has the same difficulty as I do and we can support each other to reach or goal. The worst that can happen is we can be a little critical about what we are doing. I am originally from NY and moved to Houston a little over year ago Oct '08. I miss my family and friends. I am however trying to create a new life here, making friends has been really hard with my work schedule.

My main hobby is Scrap Booking and making cards. I pretty much love to do anything with crafting. You might say it's more of an obsession than a hobby...

I want to tell you how much I appreciated your practical suggestion when I was struggling with the holiday treats. To give myself permission to eat something, or some of something, is much better than to try to say no and want it. I guess all things in moderation. Your encouragement was very helpful.
