Welcome 2011

Greetings:

Good bye 2010.
I have been vegetarian since late August of 2010. I love it and can feel a huge difference on how my body functions. Even in the beginnig it felt great - less pain, less bloat, etc. Now I am 25 pounds lighter - didn't gain any over the holidays. Sometimes i don't eat as well as I should and don't get all the good stuff that I need. I need to pay attention to how my body feels and follow that.

I also gave up soda in August and now ...

I am happy with the changes that I have made in my life and will continue on with them during 2011.

My Goals:
My first goal was to hit 275, which I have doen. My next goal is to hit 250. I do not want to "diet"; I want a life style change and that takes time and commitment. It is working! I am on month 6th month of transformation and although I have a long way to go, i feel better than I have in years. My ultimate goal has not been set - little chunks of weight are more reasonable for me to deal with.

My Program:
Too eat healthier, include more fresh produce. To exercise (which I hate). To drink more water. I sort of like yoga when I can find the time - the goal there will be to make the time.
