I'm 32 and starting at this over again... been working out the last 6 weeks after skipping out on the gym for over 2 years... have lost 13 lbs so far... another 11 to go! I know I can do this.... again!!

I felt like I was large for most of my teen/adult life, being a size large and what not for over the last 15 years. I realized that I was at my heaviest back in 2004 when I weighed in at about 175 lbs or so when I took a trip to Taiwan (the land of the size 0's). I guess I was just really lazy then and accepted it for a while because I always thought I was a large framed person, until a few weeks ago when I took my measurements. I've been a yo-yo dieter since forever and finally decided I needed to make a life change.

I started working out more religiously back in December 2008 so that I wouldn't gain the Holiday 7 lbs cuz I'd plateaued at what was my goal weight for almost 4 months and didn't want to gain. Then after the new year and at the end of January, I decided I needed to make a change and started to make myself accountable for everything I put into my mouth and also to exercise more frequently. I joined a site with a lot of wonderful ladies in the same situation as me and have been logging on everyday since.

So that was two years ago and now I'm starting all over again... gained that weight back the last couple years, but since losing the first 10 lbs these last 6-7 weeks, I can see the different in my body again and in my physical fitness. When I first started again I'd want to pass out in my Total Body/Power Sculpting class, but now I feel strong again... not as strong as in 2009 but fit. My arms and legs are getting definition and I can only assume my stomach is too, but I still have the belly flab to lose to see it again and I cannot wait til that happens again so that hopefully I have the will to keep it off for good unlike last time.

Here are my stats from two years ago when I started "Boot Camp"

Height - 5'8"
Body Weight - 138 (with clothes and shoes - minus 3 lbs appro = 135)
Body Weight Goal = 126 (what I hope for so I'm hoping for some good tips)
Body Fat % = 16.3% (using hand body scale thingy after workout though) - My home scale has me at about 19.3%
Biceps = 11" (she said it's ok if they get bigger)
Chest = 33 7/8"
Waist (belly button) = 31.4"
Waist (smallest) - 27.5"
Hips = 36 7/8"
Thighs (6" above knees) - 21.5

My Current Workout Routines
Mondays - 1 hr Power Sculpt/1 hr Zumba
Tuesday - 45 mins - 1 hr Cardio/1 hr Boot Camp
Wednesday - 45 mins - 1 hr Cardio/ 1 hr Power Sculpt / Bowling League
Thursday - 45 mins - 1 hr Cardio / 1 hr Total Body
Friday - Rest Day or 45 mins - 1 hr Cardio / 30 mins Weights / Bowling League
Saturday - 8 am Turbo Kick / 9 am Boot Camp / 10 am Zumba - usually do two classes of the three
Sunday - Golf / Rest Day

Love my classes... they keep me motivated to keep going and I continue to see results! Let these next 8 weeks fly by so that these last 10-15 lbs shed off slowly but surely!

My Goals:
To lose these last 15 pounds,lose a few more inches, gain muscle so I can burn the fat and see my abs again... =)

My Program:
Let's see... I've been counting my calories for the last 7weeks on this other site "TDP". It has a wonderful support group of ladies going through the same struggles as me.

I've been going to the gym everyday but am trying to get into my head that I need a day's rest. I do cardio about 6x a week which includes about 3 classes at our gym, some weight training and some team sports like Volleyball and Bowling

Personal Information:
I'm originally from Hawaii if you count where I was raised during my childhood. Born here in Utah, but moved away when I was 8 months old and didn't come back til I was 23. I'm a military brat in and out and and am married to my wonderful husband of 4 1/2 years who takes care of me 24/7.

Thanks for the blog comment! Haha I went window shopping today and abruptly ended my outing when I couldn't even fit a shirt over my head. But hey - I'm not bad or wrong for being my size - just different from a lot of people here. It's all good!

That's too bad about your mom =( but you seem to be in a really good place now! and it looks like you're doing a fantastic job, so keep up the good work!
