Hi Sue, again I'm sending out a sparkmail to the NL team leaders. Here's what it says:

Hello fellow NL team leaders!

Sue is not cc'ed on this discussion because her account is not set up to accept sparkmails. I will post this on her spark page instead.

I just stumbled upon the fact that as a team leader, we're automatically put in the Spark Team for Team Leaders (Business related).

There's even a challenge there on how to become a good team leader! So, with a few of the things in mind that I've come across, I have some questions for my fellow leaders.

1) Should we change the team name to Newfoundland and Labrador Sparkpeople?
2) I haven't heard back positively or negatively about giving sparkgoodies to our top 5 members of each week. I'm going to start tomorrow since the team digest comes out then. I don't expect you to jump on board, but if you'd like to, let me know.
3) Should we add a second team goal? My suggestion would be "Do one outdoor activity per week."

Well, thanks for taking the time to read this, and I hope we can get this team hopping!

Hi girls,

Great job starting some new threads Nancy! I'll have to think over the next few days about some ideas. We should try rolling some new threads out at least every few weeks. Even if we don't get a lot of response at first, we'll probably get some

I also have half a developed idea for a challenge - to track your exercise in kilometers/miles and measure how far across the province it gets us! Maybe all together we can add up our miles and try to "walk/run" from St. John's to Corner Brook!

What do you gals think of giving out goodies to the top 5 in fitness minutes and top 5 in spark points every week? The list comes in the team digest every week...we could share the task so we can share using up our goodie points. Or we could just do the top 1 person.

Anyhoo, I'm off to do some running and then a shred!

Hi Sue, Thanks for the visit and comment on my page. This is Margaret from the 50+ team, btw. Yes, they were from Quebec then they moved to Ontario then my Mom moved to the states looking for work during the depression. So that's how it goes. Would love to visit those areas some day. I still have relatives there but I don't really know them- was really young the last time I saw them.

What a sweet baby in your pics!! Miss cuddling little ones!
